The University
Founded in 1836 the University of London is considered the third oldest university of England. There are about 175.000 people studying at the 18 federal university comprising colleges and 10 institutes.
The Law department enjoys brilliant reputation and is the developer of the programme: With 16.000 students (2800 from outside the UK) Queen Mary is one of the largest colleges of the University of London.
Six Noble Prize winners studied here. The UCL is with 25.000 students even larger.
Alongside the University of Oxford, the University of Cambridge, the London School of Economics and Political Science and the Imperial College London UCL is part of the G5 group of the leading English universities. Twenty Noble Prize winners completed their studies or research here.
