The Executive MBA in Innovation & Business Creation is a cooperation between the Technical University of Munich and UnternehmerTUM. The programme deepens your entrepreneurial understanding, equips you with tools from innovation management and strengthens your leadership skills. The modules help you develop solution-oriented management skills and put theory into practice: You systematically evaluate opportunities and work on your own innovative idea. Our innovation experts will support and advise you in the process.
A study trip to Berkeley, San Francisco and the Bay Area rounds off the unique experience of an Executive MBA in Innovation & Business Creation.
The programme is organised in two to six-day blocks, including weekends.

The programme can only be started in October.
Procedure of the admission process
The process consists of several application rounds and the responsible persons check all the documents received before the next round begins. The sooner you submit all documents completely and correctly, the sooner you will receive a response. International students who have completed their first degree outside the EU are advised by the TUM School of Management to submit their application no later than the second round in order to complete the process on time.
The selection of students for the Executive MBA Program at the TUM School of Management follows a three-step process:
Registration and submission of application documents
Review of the application documents with regard to the central TUM admission requirements, taking into account the personal motivation and goals of the candidates.
Invitation of pre-selected candidates to a personal interview.

Costs of the study programme
39,000 euros (plus the student union fee)
Students must cover the costs of travel and accommodation themselves.
Formal requirements for the degree programme (Abitur, university entrance qualification, etc.)
- Qualifying university degree for a Master's degree (Bachelor's, Diplom, Magister, Staatsexamen)
- At least three years of full-time professional experience, first experience as a manager is an advantage
- Very good knowledge of English (verification will take place during the application process)
- Successful completion of the multi-stage application process
What technical requirements/work equipment do I need?
No special IT skills required, notebooks are sometimes necessary for the courses.
What languages must an applicant be able to speak?
The Executive MBA is held entirely in English. Applicants should therefore have a very good command of English.
