The MBA programme ‘European Management’ at the Europa-Institut of the University of Saarland was first established in 1990.
A maximum of 30 students joins for each study week at the University, which was founded in 1946. In total, the University is home to around 18,000 students, which amounts to an impressive ten percent of Saarbrücken’s population. The capital of Saarland is located at the border triangle of Germany, France and Luxembourg.
The University of Saarland’s MBA programme is made-to-measure for the changing European market. The framework of the courses is an interdisciplinary understanding of economic, political, legal and cultural basics of integration. This comprehensive insight into the European market is unique among comparable programmes since ‘European Management’ focuses on both – equipping managers with the necessary business and economic background for different operational and strategic approaches from within and outside of Europe. The MBA School regards people as ‘designers of commercial relations’ and therefore summarizes the programme as cut-out for people, markets and morale – graduates are prepared for “Managing with(in) Europe” and are awarded the degree ‘Master of Business Administration’ (MBA).
